Ijeoma Ajibade

The Revd. Ijeoma Ajibade is an Anglican priest working in the Diocese of London and the Diocese of Southwark. She is also the Regional Director for Europe at Mission to Seafarers.

Ijeoma has always combined ministry with secular work, and she has worked in different government roles in the UK public sector for 25 years. She has worked in local government in London on issues including Audit and Special Investigations, Housing Advice and Homelessness, and welfare benefit administration. Ijeoma spent twelve years working for the London Assembly and two Mayors of London (Ken Livingstone and Boris Johnson).

As well as being ordained in the Church of England since 2010 Ijeoma is also a community activist working on human rights, and HIV awareness and prevention.

Ijeoma adores reading and manages to get free books from publishers and authors which she then reviews. She enjoys urban fantasy, murder mysteries, paranormal stories, romances and comic books, and is a member of the London Comic Book Club.
